PERSONAL THERAPY
So what will therapy be like? I approach this from two primary human needs:
First, our need to share, be witnessed and to get stuff off our chest so we don’t have to carry the weight of it.
Second, I seek understanding: noticing patterns, looking for places things aren’t working and seeking to understand why, and talking about adjustments and change in perspective, words, and actions. I also explore what support we need and where we can find it to assist us in taking action or experimenting with change
And beyond, I am here to discuss the exploration of growth, purpose, and fulfillment.
A typical personal therapy session will explore what’s on your mind and feelings right now and having a safe space to just be with wherever you are. Then we can look at themes and goals in your life. We can explore your goals and feel the permission to gently try some new ways to understand our challenges. We can notice how cycles and patterns have helped or hindered what we want.
And everyone is different. Every day is different. Every chapter in our lives has meaning and constantly shifts. Together, we can notice and adjust to the need of the moment. I always welcome feedback and want to know how everything is working for you.
